Father's Day mass shooting investigation continues, deceased victim identified

ELKHART, Ind. -- The Elkhart Police Department reports the Elkhart County Homicide Unit is continuing its investigation into the early morning Father's Day mass shooting that left one dead and 11 wounded on W. Garfield Avenue.

The deceased victim has been identified as 30-year-old Davelle Osby.

As of Monday morning, police say eight of the 11 gunshot wound victims have been treated for their injuries and released.

Authorities say the remaining three victims remain hospitalized.

The Elkhart County Homicide Unit is asking anyone who may have video, surveillance/Ring camera footage, photos, or any other kind of information, to call 574-296-1888 or 574-295-2825.
