Elkhart woman sentenced to prison for Armed Bank Robbery

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The United States Attorney’s Office Northern District of Indiana announced 29-year-old Undrea House, of Elkhart, was sentenced to prison on Monday after pleading guilty to Bank Robbery and Brandishing a Firearm during a Crime of Violence.

House has been sentenced to 7 years and 1 month in prison, followed by 3 years of supervised release.

Case documents reveal in August 2024 House walked into a bank and pointed a loaded handgun at an employee while demanding cash.

Police say she took over $1,000 in cash before returning to her apartment where police found and arrested her later the same day.
