Severe weather is done for now across Michiana. However, rain and thunderstorms are possible for areas along and south of US 30 overnight. This is an area that saw more than three inches of rain Tuesday, and where numerous flooded roadways have been reported. If you encounter flooding, TURN AROUND, don't drown. We'll be MUCH colder on Wednesday with highs in the 40s. Periods of showers and steady rain are likely throughout the day.
The front that will bring Michiana storms Tuesday night will reverse and return to our area on Thursday. This will once again help temperatures reach the middle 70s on Thursday with another chance of severe weather in the evening. Highs will reach the 60s for South Bend Cubs Opening Day Friday, but a few pesky showers might try and spoil the fun. A final round of thunderstorms is likely late Friday night into Saturday. Rain should end by Easter Sunday, but we are MUCH colder for the holiday, with highs barely reaching the 40s and a stiff breeze expected.
Tonight: Strong storms possible in the evening, then cloudy and turning chilly. Low 40.
Tomorrow: Periods of showers and steady rain. Colder. High 48.
Thursday: Warm again with more evening thunderstorms. High 75.
Friday: A chance of afternoon showers. High 66.
