ELKHART COUNTY, Ind.-- Elkhart needs your help to make the city greener. The "Trees for the Hart" program kicks of tomorrow with the lofty goal of planting over two-thousand trees by 2028.
Elkhart and Goshen are both receiving 1 million from the Urban and Community Forestry Program.
South Bend is receiving 1.87 million from the US Forest Service.
Tomorow you can join local volunteers and city officials to dig into the new initiative.
