Elkhart County crash leaves motorist dead

ELKHART, Ind. -- The Elkhart County Police Department is investigating a deadly crash between a motorcycle and a truck on the 1600 block of Cassopolis Street on Sept. 29.

The crash is said to have occurred at around 7:13 p.m. when the motorcycle was traveling northbound, and it struck a Ford F-150 turning left in front of the driver.

The motorcyclist was said to be in his early 20's, and was transported to the hospital after the crash, where he later died from his injuries.

No names have been released at this time.
