Driver cited in two-vehicle crash that left one injured
ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- The Elkhart County Sheriff's Office reports deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash at C.R. 27 and C.R. 40 around 5:19 a.m. Monday.
The report states a 2016 Chevrolet Equinox, driven by 60-year-old Teresa Emmons of Goshen, was travelling west on C.R. 40, approaching C.R. 27.
Authorities say that's when Emmons entered the intersection.
Deputies say Emmons disregarded the traffic control device, colliding with a 2000 Honda Accord, driven by a 58-year-old Goshen man, which was in the intersection heading north on C.R. 27.
Emmons was uninjured while the Goshen man had complaints of neck pain.
Deputies cited Emmons for Disregarding Traffic Control Device Causing Bodily Injury.
Both drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
