UPDATE: SSL trains on the move after downed Metra wires caused delays

UPDATE: As of 1:50 p.m., Metra has completed wire repairs and SSL is in the process of resuming normal service to and from Millenium Station.

SSL officials add delays may continue.

UPDATE TWO: As of 10:45 a.m., SSL officials say all westbound trains will terminate at Van Buren due to Metra wire issues. 

Riders are asked to plan accordingly, update to follow.

UPDATE: SSL officials report train service has resumed but expect delays due to the Metra wire issue at Van Buren.

ORIGINAL STORY: The South Shore Line reports trains are currently delayed arriving and departing Van Buren due to downed wires on Metra property.

SSL officials say there is no estimate at this time of when service will resume.

They ask passengers to be at boarding stations on time in the event delays are less than expected.

SSL officials add trains #7 and #207 have been annulled due to the wire issues.
