SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Epson Tour participants teed off in the Four Winds Invitational for the 42nd annual Epson Tour.
Day one of the Four Finds Invitational is wrapped up at the South Bend Country Club.
It’s part of the Epson Tour on the road to the LPGA with some of the best women from across the world competing.
The three-day event is for 144 participants on nearly 6,700 yards of green for 18 holes.
The par 72 course is not the friendliest, ranking as the sixth toughest private course in the state of Indiana.
2021 was the first year the South Bend Country Club hosted the event and in year two, participants such as Malene Hansen, says she’s turning things around.
“It’s amazing. There is 144 players every week that want it just as bad as I do and they’re all amazing players. Amazing girls and we all just dream about PGA, that’s the ultimate goal. This is my fourth year on tour. I’ve been at this course once before, last year, I did not play well at all, so it’s just great to be back and do better,” said Epson Tour participant Hansen.
Day two of the Four Winds Invitational starts Saturday at 7:00 a.m.
