ABC 57 ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- At approximately 6:20 P.M. on Sunday, the Elkhart County Police responded to a 2011 Toyota that stopped at the stop sign at the private drive at 21300 Walorski Parkway facing north when a 2004 Hyundai SUV was traveling eastbound on Walorski Parkway west of C.R 19.
The driver of the Toyota failed to yield the right of way to the SUV and pulled out in front of him, striking the front end of the SUV with the front driver side of the Toyota.
The driver of the Toyota was transported by ambulance to Elkhart General Hospital for complaint of pain and non-incapitating injuries and was cited for Failure to Yield the Right of Way.
The driver of the SUV sustained no injuries.
