ELKHART, Ind. -- On September 21, local patriotic groups in Elkhart, including The Arsinoe Martin Circle #78 Ladies of the Grand Army of the Republic and the William Tuffs Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution, held the 10th Annual wreath-laying ceremony at the United States Constitution Monument in Island Park, commemorating the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Constitution.

The event included speeches, wreath-laying, readings of all 27 amendments, musical tributes, and the ringing of a historic Homestead Bell, honoring the Constitution and those who fought to defend it throughout American history.
