COLOMA, Mich. -- The Coloma Public Library is one of only 10 libraries across the nation set to host NASA's Discover Exoplanets: The Search for Alien Worlds exhibit, set to begin in September.

The library's opening "Launch Day" celebration will be held Sept. 7 from 9 a.m.- 2 p.m., with giveaways and light refreshments while supplies last.

The exhibit will cover topics such as how scientists are searching for these worlds and how they may be similar to our own. It will have multiple different hands-on multi-media activities where visitors will be able to build their own solar systems, learn whether TV and movies are fact or fiction, and see NASA's most recent discoveries.

The library will host a variety of programs throughout the duration of the exhibit, including STEM Days, a visit from Air Zoo, and more.

The exhibit will run through the end of November.

You can find even more information on the exhibit's website.
