Clouds gather today, with rain chances increasing ever so slightly as we head into the afternoon hours. Temperatures expected to peak in the low 80s. Scattered showers expected by 4 pm, continuing through the evening. Scattered thunderstorms through midnight, a more defined line of thunderstorms hits our area in the early morning hours. Scattered thunderstorms continue, but most should be out of our viewing area by noon on Saturday. You could feel a sprinkle Saturday night, but those will be highly localized. Humidity will be high through the day, but decreases after the cold front comes through.
Cooler conditions are expected for the beginning of next week with highs staying in the 70s. Temperatures rise back into the mid to high 80s in the middle of next week, with increase precipitation chances on all days, specifically Tuesday night into Wednesday and Friday. Above average temperatures but dry conditions round off next week.
