GOSHEN, Ind. -- Adoption struggles are personified in one Goshen family, relentlessly working to adopt a child for over three years now. While having children of their own was not in the cards for Sarah and Skip Slabaugh, they stay hopeful adoption is the route to help them start a family.
The couple has had three possible placements all fall through; Sarah tells ABC57's Sidney Moore it's a rollercoaster of emotions losing a potential placement, Slabaugh compares it to miscarriage, going through the emotion of having a child to call your own, and then all of a sudden, it's not there.
Despite the recommendations to give up the Slabaugh's took to 574 Nosey Neighbors group on Facebook hopeful for a lead, a family, a child to call their own.
If you, or someone you know is looking to adopt, you can send email leads to [email protected]
