Notre Dame Men’s Basketball out to a 4-0 start to the season
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Twenty-four years ago, a group of fireman and police officers from New York witnessed the game winning kick that ended Drew Breese's perfect season at the house that Rockne built.
One fireman by the name of Jimmy Riches would lift the Irish Leprechaun Mike Brown and carry him onto the field to celebrate.
Less than a year later, Riches would perish in the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in New York on September 11.
Mike Brown remembers the moment and has since reconnected with one of those New Yorkers, Frank Kehoe.
