39-year-old man arrested for weapons charges and OWI
MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- The Marshall County Sheriff's Office reports deputies responded to the area of S.R. 17 and 10B Road in reference to a weapon involved call.
Deputies say the caller advised a man had punched him in the face, pointed a gun at his head, and shot at the caller before leaving in a truck heading south on S.R. 17 from 10B Road.
The report states a Marshall County Sheriff’s Department K-9 Deputy then located the suspect vehicle and made a traffic stop in the 9000 block of Sycamore Road.
The driver of the suspect vehicle was identified as 39-year-old John Klindedinst.
Klindedinst was suspected of being intoxicated by alcohol and drugs.
Klindedinst was then taken to Plymouth Hospital for a chemical test.
Upon doing so, authorities say Klindedinst was found to be over twice the legal limit of alcohol.
Klindedinst was then taken to the Marshall County Jail and booked for intimidation with a deadly weapon, criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon, operating a vehicle with an ACE of .15 or more, operating a vehicle while endangering a person, and battery resulting in bodily injury.
Klindedinst. was issued a $1,505 bond.
