Siara Carpenter, Multimedia Journalist

Originally from the south suburbs Chicago, Siara Carpenter has relocated several times in the last few years.

Attending the University of Southern California Annenberg School of Journalism from 2021-2025, she earned a B.A. in Journalism and M.A. in Specialized Journalism Arts and Culture, specifically in food. She's also a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Siara has covered elections, concerts, new restaurants, and spent the last year as weekend anchor and MMJ at WFLI in West Lafayette.

She also loves to travel and interned twice for United Airlines in communications and marketing. Siara's been to nine countries and lived in London for five months.

Outside of work, Siara loves her cat Freckles, who she met while on assignment. She also loves self-care, makeup, and skincare.
