MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- As August marches on, more Michiana schools are welcoming students back for the new school year, with Penn-Harris-Madison hitting the ground running Wednesday morning.
ABC57's Siara Carpenter stopped by Elsie Rogers Elementary School, one of 15 schools in the P-H-M School System, to speak with Superintendent Dr. Heather Short.
P-H-M officials say they're focused on literacy and teaching students about their culture of excellence from Pre-k to Senior year.
