
Here are just a few of the events and activities going on in the Michiana area this weekend.
St. Joseph County Ag Days come to 4-H County Fairgrounds
The St. Joseph County Ag Team announced Ag Days will come to the St. Joseph 4-H County Fairgrounds Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Organizers say the event will include station activities, animals, and various exhibits.
Admission and parking are free.
Ag Days will take place in the St. Joseph County Fairgrounds Commercial Building at 5117 Ironwood Rd. in South Bend.
Ag Days schedule:
- Friday - 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Saturday - 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Sunday - 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
There will also be a free Pedal Pull on Saturday at 3 p.m. Sign-up is at 2 p.m. The pull is open to kids ages 5 to 10.

'Birding for Shy People Hike' at Ox Bow County Park Saturday
Elkhart County Parks invites community members enjoy the outdoors at Saturday's event “Birding for Shy People” at Ox Bow County Park from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Park officials are encouraging shy, introverted visitors to step out of their comfort zone by going into nature to unplug, meet new people, and learn about birds along the way.
Attendees can expect a few introvert-friendly icebreakers before the guide leads a low-key bird hike with immersive exercises and helpful tips for birders of every level.
Organizers say the activities will be based on the group’s comfort level both physically and socially.
Binoculars will be available for use and the event is free with no registration required.
This event id recommended for ages 12 and up.
Park admission is $3 per vehicle.
All activities will take place rain or shine, so participants are encouraged to dress for the weather.
The group will meet at Ox Bow Haus Shelter in Ox Bow County Park located at 23033 C.R. 45 in Dunlap.

Collegiate Robotic Football Conference Championships April 5 at Saint Mary's College
The school where the entire sport started will be hosting the 2025 Collegiate Robotic Football Conference Championship this weekend this Saturday, and the public is invited to attend the tournament.
The University of Notre Dame will welcome four other teams (Navy, Ohio Northern, Valvin, and Valparaiso) to the Angela Athletic Center at Saint Mary's College on Saturday, April 5.
The tournament begins at 9:30 a.m. with the championship game scheduled for 4:30 p.m. The rules of the sport are similar to football, only with robots.
"The tournament will feature top collegiate robotic teams battling it out in a high-tech football competition," organizers said. "Teams have spent months perfecting their robotic designs and strategies for the chance to claim the Brian Hederman Memorial Trophy which represents the National Champion."
The event is open to the public and no tickets are needed for this free event.
