Five semitrucks overturned by wind on I-65 Wednesday afternoon
Steady rain with brief bouts of heavy downpours continues through the morning with winds picking up gradually throughout the first half of the day. Flooding is still a concern, especially in low lying areas. With windy conditions expected today and a very saturated ground, some trees may be blown over as well. Wind gusts will likely range from 35-45 mph across most of Michiana, although some areas could see 50+ mph locally. The heaviest rain will move out of our area around 12 PM to 1 PM, but showers linger through the afternoon and early evening. Expect partly cloudy skies tonight and lows in the bottom of the 60s. Drier and warmer weather fills in the back half of the week with daily slight chances for a shower or storm through the weekend.
Today: Rainy/windy. High 73.
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low 61.
Thursday: Mostly sunny. High 80.
Friday: Partly cloudy. High 84.
