MICHIANA -- Indiana State Police state that it has been a very busy Thanksgiving weekend.
Between Saturday at 10 a.m. and Sunday 10 a.m., the Indiana State Police assisted in 84 crashes, 120 slide-offs, 40 motor assists, and 10 abandoned vehicles were checked, many of them on I-80/94 from the Illinois State line to Michigan State line.
On the Toll Road there were 52 total crashes, 58 slide-offs, and 33 motorist assists.
