Water leak leads to electrical incident in Notre Dame utility tunnel

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The University of Notre Dame reports a water leak led to an electrical incident in a utility tunnel on Saturday around 5 a.m.
Officials say there were no injuries, but multiple buildings and services/systems were affected.
Notre Dame released the following statement:
"At approximately 5 a.m. Saturday (Dec. 21), an incident occurred in a tunnel between Galvin Life Sciences Center and Decio Faculty Hall on campus, affecting phones, internet and other campus services and systems.
Campus building, operations and public safety personnel are continuing to respond to the incident, with limited impacts to ongoing campus operations."
