Warsaw Police investigating thefts from vehicles

WARSAW, Ind. - The Warsaw Police Department is investigating a string of thefts from vehicles in the area.

According to police, the two separate outbreaks of thefts took place over the past two weekends in the areas west of downtown and along Parker Street.

Multiple vehicles were also ransacked and one was stolen in the parking lot of the Kuder Estates.

The thefts took place between the late evening and early morning hours.

Officers believe multiple suspects are committing the crimes in the city and in the county at the same time.

Police want to remind residents to lock the doors of your vehicles and homes and to be aware of your surroundings.

If you have surveillance cameras, please check them for any activity that could help police in their investigation, particularly any footage between Sunday night and Monday morning.
