New warden appointed at St. Joseph County Jail

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- As of New Year's Day, the St. Joseph County Jail is under new leadership with Lieutenant Andrew Finn being promoted to Major/Warden.

"Finn commenced his career in 2010 as a Corrections Officer and progressed through the ranks, serving in various capacities," county officials said.

"Finn has held positions as a Field Training Officer, certified breath test operator, 40-hour pre-basic certified, video courtroom deputy, certified ILEA instructor, nationally certified gang investigator, booking officer, Assistant Booking Commander, and Booking Commander prior to his appointment as Warden." 

Finn's tenure as warden officially began on Jan. 1.
