Severe weather unlikely today, but not impossible
A surface high and dry air are migrating into Michiana over the next few days, producing consecutively warmer days from today through Wednesday. Highs in the low 40s this afternoon will bolt to the 50s tomorrow and the mid 60s on Hump Day. The lack of cloud cover overnight in the start of the week does drop overnight temperatures to near freezing tonight and tomorrow night, but lack of wind should keep "feels-like" temperatures close to the forecasted values. A cold frontal boundary looks set to develop early Thursday as low pressure drives through the Great Lakes, ushering in showers and thunderstorms in the second half of Thursday.
Today: Mostly cloudy. High 42.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy. Low 28.
Tuesday: Partly cloudy. High 52.
Wednesday: Mostly cloudy. High 62.
