ESTILL COUNTY, Ky.—Drone footage captured by Aaron Boyd and obtained by ABC News shows the moment a group of firefighters rescued a dog from high floodwaters.
Firefighters with the Clark County Fire Department were deployed to Estill County this week to assist with rescuing community members and their animals.
The dog in the video, Roxy, was rescued by a team on March 2.
Heavy rains across Appalachia caused massive flooding this week in multiple states, including Kentucky, submerging cars, homes and businesses in floodwaters.
