Drunk driver sentenced for death of road worker

BUCHANAN, Mich. -- The 38-year-old man accused of drunk driving leading to the death of a road worker in 2022 has been sentenced to a maximum of 15 years in prison Monday.

Taylor Johnson, the 38-year-old, was found guilty of Operating a Motor Vehicle while Intoxicated Causing Death following a three-day trial in February.

Johnson was sentenced Monday to a minimum of 57 months, or four years and nine months, and a maximum of 180 months, or 15 years, in prison.
