Two-vehicle crash sends one to hospital, teen driver cited for Disregarding Stop Sign

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- The Elkhart County Sheriff's Office reports deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash around 8:41 p.m. Thursday on C.R. 30 at S.R. 19.
The report states a 2007 Ford van, driven by a 16-year-old North Liberty boy, was traveling west on C.R. 30, near the intersection of S.R. 19 when he failed to stop at the stop sign for traffic on C.R. 30.
Deputies say the teen driver then crashed into a 2016 Dodge Ram Truck, driven by a 38-year-old Pottsville, Ark. man, who did not have a stop sign.
The Arkansas man was taken to Elkhart General Hospital for complaints of pain.
The teen driver was cited for Disregarding a Stop Sign.
