Two more rounds of snow today, bitter cold this weekend
While the heaviest snow is past Michiana at this point, multiple rounds of snow showers are expected between today and next Monday. System snowfall develops across Michiana later this morning starting between 8 AM to 9 AM EST and ending around 3 PM EST, leaving 1-3 inches behind in most of our forecast area. Temperatures get above freezing today after the late morning snowfall which allows some melting to take place in the afternoon and evening. Tonight, scattered snow showers will drop up to an additional inch of snow in pockets of Michiana, especially north of US-30.
Saturday is quiet and mostly cloudy with cold temperatures in the bottom of the 20s. On and off light snow takes over Saturday night, but impacts to travelling will be low. Low temperatures this weekend will be in the single digits and near zero in some cases. Sunday's weather resembles Saturday, quiet and cold during the day and snowy in the evening and overnight.
Today: Snow showers. High 35.
Tonight: Scattered snow showers. Low 16.
Saturday: Mostly cloudy. High 20.
