ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- The Elkhart County Sheriff's Office responded to a crash on C.R. 17 about a mile west of Goshen on Friday afternoon that sent one driver to Elkhart General Hospital.
Authorities say the call came in around 2:41 p.m. for a two-vehicle crash involving a 2015 Ford F150 and a 2011 Ford Escape.
The crash report indicates that 67-year-old Terry Sauer of Goshen was driving south in the F150 on C.R. 17, just north of S.R. 119, and the Escape was stopped at the red light at the intersection of C.R. 17 and S.R. 119.
Sauer failed to stop and rearended the Escape, forcing it into the intersection and damaging both vehicles.
The driver of the Escape was taken to Elkhart General with complaints of back and neck pain.
