SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- After a snowy and cold Halloween last year, will this year be a trick or a treat for Halloween?
Rain showers are expected to move through Michiana in an on and off fashion now through 4 PM or so.
Thankfully, conditions will dry up right in time for trick or treating.
It likely will stay cloudy, but the big weather story will be the gusty winds.
Wind gusts should range between 30-40 mph this evening for Halloween events.
If your costume is susceptible to wind, keep in mind of the gusty conditions expected as a cold front moves through.
Temperatures will be dropping as well. Starting in the low 60s around 5 PM before falling into the upper 50s once trick or treating wraps up.
Overall, a fairly mild but breezy Halloween is expected this evening.
At least it is not snowing like last year!
