Traffic stop leads to four teens arrested, three guns recovered near Eddy Street Commons

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The South Bend Police Department reports officers continued their increased presence in and around Eddy Street Commons over the weekend, which led to multiple arrests.

Police say a traffic stop involving four juveniles led to the recovery of three firearms, including one with a machine gun conversion device, or "switch."

The juveniles, 16 and 17 years old, were detained at the Juvenile Justice Center.

The cases remain under investigation and review.
