Three Rivers Middle, High School switch to remote learning October 19-22 due to staffing issue
THREE RIVERS, Mich. – Three Rivers Middle and High School will switch to remote learning from October 19 to 22 due to staff illness and a staffing shortage.
The school district released a letter to families on Sunday, saying:
“Our staff shortage, combined with a very small pool of substitutes, results in our available teachers shifting from class to class hour by hour and other staff being pulled from their positions to cover classrooms, unfortunately we are at a point we are unable to cover classrooms.”
Students will be expected to attend Google Meets and complete assignments posted in Google Classroom.
Specifics will be shared with students on Monday.
This transition will not affect extra-curricular activities, including athletic events.
