Texas woman defends house with paintball gun

GALVESTON, Texas. -- A would-be burglar was attacked by a paintball-gun-toting mother in Texas over the weekend.

The attack went down Friday, when Carrie King heard an intruder coming in the front. She grabbed the gun while calling 911 and fired hitting Elvis Alexander.

She said yellow paintballs were flying everywhere.

"Finally, cops were like, 'Lady put it down, we've got him,' and I was like, 'Oh, OK,” said King. "If I would have had a real weapon and I would have shot the same way. Elvis would have been dead on my step."

Police say Alexander was after loose change and Ramen Noodles.

The suspect had been helping her with yard work and the break-in happened on a day she was supposed to be out of the house.
