Suspect facing new charges of Attempted Murder after hitting student at bus stop

ELKHART, Ind. -- Court documents from Elkhart County reveal 37-year-old Jamarius Bryant, of Indianapolis, is facing new charges after being arrested on Oct. 1, following a police chase where he allegedly struck a student at a bus stop in Marshall County.

Bryant is now charged with two counts of Attempted Murder, Level 1 Felonies, and Resisting Law Enforcement, a Level 5 Felony, in Elkhart County.

Bryant was arrested on a warrant a week ago.

His initial charges in Marshall County, where the chase ended, have been dismissed without prejudice.
