ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. - Thursday morning on Summer's Spotlight, Hoosier native and author, Christine Ferris, stopped by the newsroom to tell us about her new novel, "Lessons from Lad."
The book tells the story of her beloved Rough Collie, Lad, who, despite his short life, left a huge impact on Ferris. What started as Facebook posts detailing lessons Ferris learned from Lad turned into a book of those lessons, which is making an impact worldwide.
Ferris is officially launching the book on Saturday at Neighbors Mercantile in Nappanee. Anyone interested in attending the book launch event or pre-ordering the book can find more information on the Lessons from Lad Facebook page.
