SOUTH BEND, Ind. - As students head back to school, ABC57 is looking into the importance of bike safety and how students can stay healthy with two wheels.
ABC57’s Summer Horan was joined by members of the South Bend Empowerment Zone and the South Bend Bike Garage to learn more about how they’re helping kids at Navarre Middle School learn how to ride a bike and take care of them.
“The Big Build,” an event promoting bike safety among students, will be held on August 20 at the South Bend Bike Garage, located on North Michigan Street.
