A truly wonderful weekend is in store for Michiana, with calm conditions likely to start the work week as well. Still cool today, high of 42 expected under mostly clear skies, but temperatures steadily climb, expecting highs in the 60s for most of the coming week. The calm, sunny and warm conditions are all going to be thanks to a high pressure setting up to our southeast. This system will likely stay put through most of the week, until a deep trough clears it out in the later parts of the week. Friday going into Saturday could see 1) our best chance to hit 70 and 2) likely our first widespread thunderstorm event of the season. However, since it is still a week out, severe weather possibilities are uncertain, rain and a cool back down to average highs is likely.
Today: Mostly clear, cool. High 42.
Tonight: Some clouds. Low 31.
Sunday: More mild, some early clouds. High 54.
Monday: Warm, sunny. High 63.
