SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- St. Vincent De Paul has moved to 100 W. South Street Suite 100 in the same building as the South Bend Public Transportation Corporation where all local public busses stop.
This new space is smaller, but will bring more opportunities to this non-profit, while also allowing those in need to have easier access to their resources.
St. Vincent De Paul has switched their name to St. Vincent De Paul of North Central Indiana to showcase their broad range coverage of those in need.
The organization's food pantry is set to open Thursday at 10 a.m. and will continue to operate every Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This non-profit also offers financial assistance, and other needs while being almost completely run by volunteers. Another act of service they do is home visits to make getting assistance much easier for those in need. The helpline number and information can be found on St. Vincent de Paul's website.
