St. JOSEPH, Mich. – Spectrum Health Lakeland is giving tours of their new medical center pavilion today.
Spectrum Health Lakeland finished their construction in March, but weren’t able to show their new additions because of the pandemic.
“For the pandemic they gave us special permission to use those spaces to house COVID patients and create as quality of experience as you can and the best care you can for our patients,” said Phillip Cooper, Manager/facilities planning Design and Construction.
According to officials this will provide a patient experience where people can have access to everything with just one visit.
The upgraded parts of the hospital include imaging, endoscopy, ICU’s, Surgery Center, and central processing.
Officials say they are about to start phase two of their improvement project. This will create a main street corridor to allow access to every department in the hospital.
