South Shore Line Labor Day schedule announcement

The South Shore Line announced it will operate a weekend/holiday train schedule in observance of Labor Day on Monday, September 2.
Other holiday events include the Chicago Jazz Festival taking place this week.
Alcohol is prohibited on all trains after 7 p.m. on Thursday and Friday.
Alcohol is prohibited on all trains all day on Saturday and Sunday, and glass bottles are always prohibited.
South Shore Line officials add NICTD’s administrative offices in Chesterton and Michigan City will be closed on Monday, September 2.
