South Bend Schools hosts Back to School Bash August 12

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - South Bend is gearing up to head back to the classroom with a Back to School Bash on August 12, hosted by the South Bend Community School Corporation and the South Bend Education Foundation.

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Brown Community Learning Center.

Families, educators and school administrators are invited to attend.

The event offers on-site enrollment, an immunization clinic and educational presentations for those in attendance.

The school corporation will also be handing out free classroom and school supplies, including clear backpacks, during the event.

The Brown Community Learning Center is located at 737 Beale St. in South Bend.
