CASS COUNTY, Mich. -- Deputies with the Cass County Sheriff's Office responded to a single vehicle crash at the intersection of Oak Grove Rd. and M 60 just after 2pm on Sunday.

The investigation showed that a vehicle driven by 25-year-old Ariana Watkins of Niles failed to navigate the right turn onto M 60 and veered off the roadway, rolling the vehicle.

Watkins had a juvenile passenger in the vehicle who was transported by ambulance to South Bend Memorial Hospital for injuries sustained in the crash.

Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash, and it is unknown if a seat belt was worn.

The incident remains under investigation.
