South Bend man sentenced to 30 years in prison for Child Molesting
St. Joseph County Jail: Timothy Leslie ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- A South Bend man has been sentenced to several decades in prison after being found guilty of Child Molesting where def. is at least 21 years of age, a Level 1 Felony.
St. Joseph County Court documents state Timothy Leslie will spend 30 years in the Indiana Department of Correction. He was also given 316 days of jail credit.
Leslie was initially charged with three counts of Child Molesting, one count of Incest, and four counts of Possession of Child Pornography. Several of his charges were dismissed.
This conviction and sentencing stems from a July 2025 investigation. A victim came forward and police executed a search warrant, during which child pornography was found on his electronic devices.
Leslie was previously found guilty in December of 2000 of one count of felony Child Molestation -- victim under the age of 12, and one count of felony Child Molestation -- victim over the age of 14.
