South Bend Cubs: What you need to know this season

The South Bend Cubs will play their first home game of the season on April 7 at Four Winds Field. There have been a few changes this season you will need to know about.

PARKING

This year, ongoing construction projects will affect where you can park. It may take you a little longer to walk to Four Winds Field.

"With the construction on The Ivy at Berlin Place around the ballpark, fans coming to games will want to allow a few extra minutes to park and make their way into the stadium,” said South Bend Cubs President Joe Hart.

Parking this season will be $7.

SECURITY

VSS Security will handle bag checks and supplemental security at Four Winds Field.

Lawn chairs, beach chairs and umbrellas are prohibited. You may bring a blanket to sit in the lawn area.

EXHIBITION GAME

The South Bend Cubs will face the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in an exhibition game on April 4. First pitch is at 6 p.m. Tickets are $5 and proceeds will go to charity.

OPENING NIGHT

Opening night at Four Winds Field is April 7.
