BREAKING: Sources tell ESPN Notre Dame DC Golden is headed to NFL

Pete Thamel X (Twitter) SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- ESPN Senior Reporter Pete Thamel is saying his sources have confirmed that Notre Dame Football's Defensive Coordinator, Al Golden, will be leaving South Bend to take the same position with the NFL's Cincinnati Bengals.
Golden was previously a Linebackers Coach with the Bengals in 2020-21, before joining Marcus Freeman's staff in 2022.
