Section of Vistula Road in Mishawaka closed Thursday for improvement

City of Mishawaka

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- The City of Mishawaka announced on Thursday morning that the Vistula Road, between Ballard Avenue and Charles Street, has been closed for utility and right-of-way improvements.

"Motorists are asked to use Lincolnway East as a detour during this closure," a city spokesperson said. "Weather permitting, this phase of work is expected to be completed by Friday, May 30."

Once this phase is finished, crews will then close Vistula Road between Charles Street and Bittersweet Road.

Crews say barricades and signage will be in place during this closure and motorists are requested to use caution and encouraged to use alternate routes to ensure the safety of the crews working in the area.

Questions regarding the project can be directed to Ethan Zartman of C&E Excavating at (574)262-4364.

The improvements are part of the city's CSO-20 project.
