UPDATE: The Berrien County Road Department announced on April 9 the Coloma Road bridge has officially reopened to traffic. 

ORIGINAL: HAGAR TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- The Berrien County Road Department announced Coloma Road between I-196 and Kerlikowske Road will be closed until further notice pending further review of the Coloma Road bridge over the Paw Paw River.

Officials say no thru traffic will be permitted on the Coloma Road bridge.

Motorists are asked to use the recommended detour route of Kerlikowske Road to Red Arrow Highway to I-196 back to Coloma Road or seek alternative routes.
