Second annual Fusion Fest coming to Howard Park
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The City of South Bend and South Bend Venues Parks and Arts announced the second annual Fusion Fest will take place at Howard Park on Saturday, Sept. 14 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 15 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Admission is free plus attendees can enjoy free experiences all over the festival, with four performance stages, a zipline and bungee trampoline experience, and Saturday night will end with a drone show at 8 p.m.
The two-day fest will feature food vendors, music, demonstrations, and artisans from regions around the world.
Fusion Fest will take over Howard Park and the surrounding streets.
The fest will be separated into global regions with stages and vendors located at each corresponding region, including North America, South America, Africa, and Europe/Asia.
Festival goers can expect traditional music and dance performances, plus learn more about cultures outside of their own by participating in hands-on activities and workshops.
