School counselor accused of smoking pot with student
KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. -- A guidance counselor with Warsaw Community Schools resigned from her position less than 24 hours after she was arrested for allegedly smoking marijuana with a 17-year-old.
Winona Lake Police noticed a car parked in a golf course parking lot early Tuesday morning.
Officers weren't sure why the car was there and decided to check it out.
When they did they found 37-year-old Pamela Rozelle, a Warsaw Community Schools guidance counselor, smoking marijuana with a 17-year-old student.
Rozelle as arrested and taken to the Kosciusko County Jail where she was booked on several charges, including possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Wednesday she resigned from the Warsaw Community School Corporation.
A move school officials say is for the best.
