SJCPD SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The Indiana Department of Transportation reports as of 2:50 p.m., Saturday, the northbound lanes of US 31 between Pierce Road and New Road are closed due to a crash.
This is two to four miles south of South Bend.
The St. Joseph County Police Department asks that motorists avoid the area.
SJCPD also reports there have already been four slide-offs in this area.
